Widman's has been part of Grand Forks since George II and Betty Widman opened the shop in 1949. The family tradition reaches back even further—to William Widman, a baker and candy maker in 1885.

Today, the downtown shop is still known for quality that takes time: homemade chocolate, unexpected combinations, and the famous Chippers loved by locals and visitors alike.
